I have had 1:1 English lessons with many instructors, including gyopos, domestic-only speakers, and foreigners, but Michael is by far the best instructor. It is a systematic curriculum consisting of greetings, small talk, textbook study, and finishing with a review of incorrect expressions and recommendations for useful expressions. He induces conversation and waits for the student to express themselves, so even after class ends, I am motivated to fill in my own shortcomings. His 'Hollywood-style' pronunciation and expressions are very comfortable to listen to. He is familiar with Korean culture, keeps his time commitments well, and is witty and good-natured, making time fly during the lesson.
